UPJV Amiens
At the beginning of the second year of the Master course, the class is split into 3 equal groups and one third spends its semester in “Université de Picardie Jules Verne” (UPJV) in Amiens, France. The added-value of this laboratory is energy storage & conversion, structural chemistry, benchmarking and prototyping.
Université de Picardie Jules Verne
The UPJV welcomes and trains 30,000 students every year and develops professional training well known on the labor market. Since the 60s, the university has been continuously evolving to meet the top level in several curriculum like energy storage and conversion.
Laboratoire de Réactivité et Chimie des Solides
The « Laboratoire de Réactivité et Chimie des Solides » (LRCS) was founded with the aim of inventing new methods for the synthesis of materials by using chimie douce 1 approaches, along with a strong expertise in electron microscopy.
Combining our expertise in synthesis chemistry, electrochemistry and characterization techniques allows to bring about new solutions to improve energy systems such as rechargeable batteries (lithium-ion batteries, lithium-air, sodium-ion, lithium sulfur, all-solid-state batteries…), hydrogen storage, dye-sensitized solar cells. In 2011, the laboratory was evaluated A+ by AERES, the national agency for evaluation of research and higher education laboratories.
